ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I've been injured mate.

Seriously, I haven't seen many games due to a trans-continental move in September. Apparently, I haven't missed much.

You should give up on them they are truly awful.

Rename yourself 'Blue' and have done with it.

You spend more time following Everton anyway.

I have to disagree. They have at least 6 points more than their performances warrant. Very lucky to beat Southampton, QPR and Stoke. They are in a false position and should have 8-11 points max at the moment. I don't recall a more awful Liverpool team.

Worth mentioning that, for all their bluster and fighting talk, they've played 11 home and 9 away fixtures in all games so far (Everton 8 home 11 away) so they should be doing a whole lot better.

Worst story ever. Says a lot that it reinforced the stereotypes of 6 different groups (2 of which he belongs to), but only 1 sees fit to make a fuss.

And before the mods say stay on topic, I believe this is a case of a witch hunt against the RS ;)

So the fact that you are part of one minority means you can't offend another?

Im looking forward to the RS in Mario tshirts at the weekend

Balotelli, "grabs coins like a jew”

"Dave Whelan has been accused of antisemitism after the Wigan Athletic owner told the Guardian he believes “Jewish people chase money more than everybody else”.

Mario and Whelan both accused of the same thing. Will be interest to see how they deal with a player from one of the establishment clubs and how they deal with a club that isn't. Awaits the RS dominated football media backtracking on the 'no place for racism in football, should be banned for life'.

I dont think Liverpool will put up much of a fight on this, tbh. It'll be very convenient for Rodgers to use the issue to draw a line under a very expensive mistake.

He'll be off in January.

I think you could be right. And it gives them the 'excuse' to get rid. His sell on value though will probably depend on the length of his ban. Anelka got 5 games and an £80 000 fine.

I dont know if they've got clauses in the deal they struck with Milan. Maybe Balotelli could return there?

It'd be ironic though: Mario and all the storm around him being targeted for racism in Italian football when at Milan going back there in disgrace as a racist.

There's something about Anfield. It must be like a miasma of hate that washes over players who come into contact with it which seeps into every pore.

Surely not.

I wonder if Johnson thought this was being 'anti racist'.
