We have been advised by our German colleagues that cash cannot be used to purchase food and drink inside the stadium.
Instead, a pre-payment card system is in use.
Everton have received 300 cards which can be purchased by fans. They cost £16 which covers €10 of credit and a €10 deposit.
Any unused credit and the deposit can be reclaimed at the ticket kiosk outside the stadium. Cards can also be topped up with additional credit if required.
The pre-payment cards are on sale to personal callers only from the Park End box office from 8am on Monday 18 November.
If you aren’t able to purchase one of the 300 cards Everton have received, you can purchase a card at the Volkswagen Arena.

Was in Berlin last week and went to that place. Very good for a drink! Can be hard to find the bars as a poster above said as they are not clustered together but tend to be scattered about. Found the transport system in Berlin to be first class though.
