He's gone missing in at least 220 of those games
Or been downright terrible in at least 150 of them.

I for one am not turning on a player who's become less important. . I've never wanted him in the side; I thought it was a Moyes aberration but obviously our new boss has been affected too.Gotta say I still like Leon Osman he's one of very few in the squad that regularly plays through balls, he's clearly a very intelligent player who can find space in and around the opposition 18 yard box and has feet quick enough to get a shot away (yes I know it's not always a good one). Sadly our fans have a habit of turning on players as they become less important to the first team resulting in a massive amount of unfair abuse It happened to Cahill before he left it happened to Kevin Campbell, David Weir and plenty of other players. If we were still battling around 15th place like we were when Osman first came into the team we'd see him as a great player but the squad has moved on and obviously the emergence of Barkley and the form of Naismith have made Osmans contribution less important this doesn't make him a useless player it just makes him a good squad player who will do everything he can for the team and score/create the odd important goal. The treatment our players get from our fans as they get slightly past their best is appalling.
I'm by no means Osman's biggest fan, but the stick that he's getting at the moment isn't really fair on him.
And after 300 odd top level appearances for a club that has continually finished in the top 6 or 7 in the most competitive league in the world and earning a fortune, I'd doubt he gives a feck what he makes you.
ha ha, you've just made 2 priceless statements there: . . . he couldn't care less about what we thinkLike Osman I really couldn't careless if I disapoint you on this.
He quite clearly isn't.For all the stick he gets, he's still a better option than Besic.

He is too weak, slow and indecisive for the PL. He's caused our defence numerous problems when coming back to 'defend' and his contribution in the attacking third has been negligible when taking into account his lengthy runs in our team. As for the middle of the park, we may as well play Dale Winton there instead.
So when the invisible man - who's hidden in the background for so long - suddenly decides to make a name, and more money by sensationalising his alleged rucks with players; and whinging about a guy who contributed more, in a third of the games than Osman ever has, I say he deserves all the stick he gets
which one of these players have been good in their last year, they got criticized for their performances, and objectively most would agree. Cahill is now treated like goodison royalty because he was a top player and clearly loves us, neville isn't because he was utter gash and is a bellNah that's unfair.
Good player who has given his all for us - whether thats enough for your high standards is obviously up for debate.
Cahill got stick in his last year, Neville obviously and now Osman. GOT loves a scapegoat and its Leons turn.
Ill respect and remember him for being a very decent footballer with quick feet and an eye for goal - all of which are commendable attributes. Throw in the fact that hes a blue through and through and I cant see why anyone would appreciate him for what he is.
Cant understand people like you mate, seemingly who want to forget the good that players have done us, especially in darker years, even if they arent your favourite.
