The boy played his former team again today, 0-2 down, won 5-3 in the end, smashed em 2nd week on the run.

Very satisfying.

Lad never played any of his arl teams, played 1 lad he was in defence with last year (left & right backs) they play him on the wing mostly now & he ripped him a new one every single time, his arl fella was 1 of the coaches last year & he said how come he never did that last season ? Instant reply "cos you played him at right back."

Thats why I went mental at his ex manager when he binned him off "I dont think hes improved this season as I thought he would", yeah no sh1t, his first season in football and you sat him on the bench for a year, he joined his new team, went down a league, played a full season, got promoted to the "first" team and just ripped you a new anus you kopite bellend.

He wouldnt even look at me.

Sick of this 'teams folding' business tbh, every goddam summer.

His Sunday Team is fine but the Saturday team (at same club) folded so it's back to Square One again, he went to a team that play in Bolton 'A' Division last night, seemed to enjoy it and they want him to join. There was him and his mate (who's arl fella runs the Sunday team), only concern is that they both came off saying that the bloke who's gonna be running the team just seems to shout, something myself and the other lads mum noticed... i.e. didn't seem to be any encouragement from him, only criticism of all the kids, we both know that the pair of them won't respond to it if thats gonna be the case, so might have to see if there are any other options but keep that iron in the fore for now.

My Youngests Presentation last night, he got the Most improved Player Award, well done Son.

There's a kid in his u7's team that plays for the saturday team as well, for the Sat team he got Top Goal Scorer (48), Most M.o.M.'s award & Managers Player of the season, for our team he got Top Goalscorer (104) & Managers Player of the season, he currently trains with City, Utd, R/S & Bolton. The things this kid does on a pitch can only be described as outrageous & when he plays every scout in the soccerdome watches, he's scored goals that have the opposition parents applauding.

He's been scouted by us but it was somewhere in Rochdale that he went to, we wanted him but he didn't enjoy it apparently & would've had to drop 1 of the others, I think Bolton & he is a Bolton season ticket holder & thats where he's been training since age 5 so it was a no go. His arl fella says that although it pains him to say it the Utd Academy is head and shoulders above the others.

Hmmmm, the politics and nepotism in Jnr footy takes the absolute slash.

U8's play at Wigan Soccerdome, they name the 2 divisions North & South so as not to have an 1st & 2nd, although every kid in there knows which is which. Last year at u7 we were in North which is the stronger, played 2 games a week and had a league table been produced we either won it or came 2nd, the only team to beat us we beat as well (2 wins each). Now this season the club give the teams different names, one week we are told we are one name & 2 weeks later we are told "Oh no, you are the other one," whatever like, then we turn up at the soccerdome and the kids find out that they have in effect been relegated, cos the coach of the other team has decided that he will take the name that puts his team into the higher division, they may well have won the weaker division last season I don't know, but I know that out of 15 teams we were either 1st or 2nd.
The result of this is that we are so far played 5 won 5 with 39 scored & 7 conceded, 25 goals yesterday and 0 conceded. This in a total of 1hr 15mins of footy. So in this 'development league' is anyone actually benefiting in any way ? in fact for the kids that are being put to the slaughter each week it has a negative effect.

not good for your team or the poor buggers getting hammerd, problem being when you meet a decent team again by the time you adjust to them you could be behind

I know mate and a case of the other coach having a bit more sway and taking our place to get his team promoted. It wouldn't surprise any of you if I told you who he supports #KopiteBehaviour

I'm about to resume my football career in an Over 40 league. It's been quite awhile since I've played in any competitive football league. Years actually.

I'll let you know how it goes.

When your 'arl fella is The Adidas Online Sales Manager though you tend to be able to have £300 boots with micro-chips in cos he obv doesn't have to pay that.

@MoutsGoat and @Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian sound like the reason 1000 people on Merseyside stop playing ball a year on Merseyside.

Jog on lad.

Look elsewhere & don't believe all you hear about Parents, cos without parents putting themselves out in both monetary ways and voluntary ways there would be no kids football, cos it isn't supported by Government, The Professional Game or Local Councils, in fact the latter are a hindrance all over the country and use the popularity of the Sport as an opportunity for profit by charging high fees for ridiculously bad pitches with minimal maintenance.

Played Saturday morning, won 3-1 against a team including a Serie C and former AC Milan reserve player.

Tbh he was 10 times better than anyone on the field even at the age of 40...
