I wish someone would have pushed him on the Coleman injury; clarify exactly what it is he's out for. It's not concussion, that's for sure.

That Dave is true, there is something more serious here which is being concealed. Even more galling that from memory RM was going to be more open with the fans.

4 weeks now 3 months!!
so we can expect him back in a year then?
Martinez for all I like his positivity is getting on my breasticles now with these horribly off the mark false hope injury comeback statements.
I agree. The comment regarding Coleman was after the Wolfsburg game was "he took a knock to the head but should be fine for the palace game!" is a perfect example. I like many others due to those comments thought it was nothing and Coleman hasn't played since. I accept that he tries to put a positive slant on everything, but let's face it, what positives are there in playing getting injured. There isn't any!!!

to be honest everton have always been garbage at letting the fans know whats what, its always got on my nerves that "slight" injuries drag on and on and on, were as bad as arsenal for getting injuries, coleman now has a tissue injury, even mcarthy is now a doubt for sunday ( well probably a rumour) when have everton and martinez ever been open with the fans, the basic bullshit about inuries is phenominal from martinez.

Thanks mate.

Note to GOT 'medical experts': wah wah wah.
I stand by my comments around the serious nature of concussion 100%. The long term implications of multiple concussions and traumatic brain injury is significant to say the least with regards to mental and physical functioning.

I thought the Wrestling Chris Benoit story brought all this to main stream media. 40 years old i think with the brain of a mid 90's alzeihmers** patient. Gary Speed was also rumoured to have brain damage in relation to constant head knocks. Not sure how far it actually went in speed's case.

Are we seriously saying Benoit did what he did because he got multiple concussions and not down to the cocktail of steroids he put into his body? K then.

Good Afternoon almighty Bungle, i didnt say that was the reason, i just made a point that multiple concussions are more dangerous than we realised say 10-20 years ago. Anything that messes with the brains system is dangerous, from our habits to injuries.
