This might be down to a lack of knowledge about foreign football but are they really top quality opposition? Off the top of my head I know one player - Bendtner.

They're a decent side. Players like Kevin de Bruyne, Ivan Perisic (Good World Cup, we were linked with him), BAS DOST ffs, the boss penalty smasher who we were linked with a while ago.

They're in bad form though.

Only won two of their last 9 and both of those wins on penalties.

They have just paid for season tickets, summer holidays, new school uniforms etc.
But the bit were Everton have got the prices wrong is that the game is available
free on ITV. They knew this in advance and still got it wrong.

Im sure the kids Uniforms and fish fingers will still be purchased.

Its just dont to the appathy our home support have, and no cost excuse will change that.

With respect I don't think they have got it wrong.
Maybe they work on the principle that supporters actually want to see games live at GP ?
If this game was one of the daft 6.00pm kick-off times, I could understand better that people might not be able to get there due to work, schools, traffic etc but Thursday is 8.05pm and I would have thought cheering the team on in Europe live was worth giving up a night in the armchair. Only my opinion of course.

Bit steep if ya asking me Europa only gets interesting once the group stage is complete. If it was a knockout competition I'd be there but I'll be watching this one on tv.

Robbing B******s. 33 quid is robbery for EL group game.

Talk about pricing people out, especially after people have just laid down 600 odd on a season ticket.

Doesn't help the team either, a crap atmosphere and loads of empty seats. THing is, if they priced it 20-25 quid would have filled it and made more $$

If the £28/£33 doesn't leave you a bit skint then it's harsh to have a pop at anyone who balks at forking out for game that could be the first of 17? depending if we reach the final of course..That's half a season !

Game is overpriced imo. And the cold hard truth is that this competition is basically the european version of the League Cup.

Surely if you are too skint, the oppostion is irrelivant ???
