£28 isnt that bad, all these destitute people will suddenly find the money if we get to the later rounds or their after a ticket for the final, what happened to 'we go the game'?

This is how I feel about it. Its almost as bad as RS fans saying they cant get a ticket!!

Is the solution not to make the European tickets compulsary, like United do ???
No mate, that's a really cynical way of fleecing your own supporters that ManU do and I'd hate it if we did it.
I reckon there'll be 30k+ there on Thursday night but it could have been a lot better though.

If it gets to 32k+ then, from a financial point of view, the club have probably called it right. From a "doing the right thing" point of view they'd still have got it wrong though. These nights are a chance to get fill the stadium with people who don't go very often and encourage them to go to other games. Basically we've missed a trick.

You're not wrong, it's not bad, but not everyone can afford that.

Realistically, the club should have looked at Fiorentina, Brann where the atmosphere was brilliant. Just looking at the research there, and when we played Metallist back in 2007, we had an attendance close to a sell out, with 37,000 there, tickets for season ticket holders were nearly half what they were this time round at £15, and likewise for non-st holders at £18. Kids were £5, likewise for the game against Larissa, it's a shame.

Full house would have been amazing, i think they'll sort that for LOSC and Krasnodar, but by alot? I doubt it.

After putting up with Moyes, Round and Phil bloody Neville and the lack of transfer spending for so long the board should have thrown this one back at fans as a thank you and charged season ticket holders £10 a go.

Anything else is a disgrace.

Never gave it a second thought, ordered mine and my daughters tickets straight away - no brainer, we either want European footie or we don't - I do !!
This on toast. Obviously, individual finances aside, what are Everton supporters waiting for? Wolfsburg at home under the floodlights playing the boss sexy togger. I'm hoping that there are a lot of people planning on leaving it late to get tickets. Anything less than say 34,000 would be poor imo

And for all the blues planning on going to Wolfsburg away but who have decided to jib the home game, it could be virtually a dead-rubber if we get off to a bad start in the group. We need a win on Thursday and a full-ish ground with a decent atmosphere can only help

Can't spend the same £35 on the later rounds if you already spent it in the group stage, can you? Needing to budget doesn't mean you're not arsed or a crap fan.

People who cant be bothered to go to this.....then moan about not getting away tickets !?!?!

More tickets have already been sold for this than we'd ever get given for an away. The people moaning about aways will overwhelmingly be the ones who have already got their tickets.

Im not too sure about that mate.

This, people more than willing to pay to go Lille away (Most have never been to an away in their lives) but begrudge paying 33 quid to watch the blues play under the floodlights at Goodison in Europe? Nah something doesn't quite ring right there. I'll probs get negged left, right and center for this like hahahaha

If you can't make it or can't afford it then fair enough.

But if you're making gash excuses because you don't want to pay a reasonable ticket price (IMO) to watch the likes of Eto'o, Mirallas and Lukaku play under the floodlights against decent opposition for our first European game in five years and you'd rather watch ITV4 then don't be whiny blerts if and when we get to the later stages and you can't get a ticket.

I mean you need to account for them mate.

More people = More food & Drink sales.

That has to be bought in and factored in to the costs of hosting the game, the profit streams would be probably have to be on a pro-rata basis and then allow for any wastage of unpurchased/consumed food.
