To be honest I've no problems with the stadium being "named", it wouldn't be the Goodison Pk even if called that.

We won't be leasing a new stadium, it won't get built. I'm interested to see the plans for this new stadium, when it dies it can live on with the Kings Dock, Desperation Kirkby and the annexe plans.

I never said we would be, I just said it didn't hold back Man City.

In a fantasy world where it does get built, owning it outright is a dead issue, as long as we had something like an iron-clad 99 year lease.

It's still incredible to me that a balls up like that happened and Elstone didn't walk for it. Absurd.

As and when some actual proposals are released I'll look at them with an open mind.

I'll predict that any release will soon be followed by the same voices pulling it to pieces because it's not 'iconic' enough, or hasn't got marble in the bogs though.
