If he does well tomorrow I think he will be very close to a start against WBA next week. I think he controls midfield better than any other player we have. I think other players may benefit from the kick up the arse that being dropped gives you. They will be better for it.

We're well covered in his position, and Martinez hasn't seen fit to rotate there yet. If he gets snapped, FIFA will pay his wages for a bit and we'll pick up where we left off.

He'd be boss if he never had leg AIDS.

Seriously though, it's a bit unfair to accuse a player of being injury prone because they've snapped an ACL. I'm not arsed about that injury, it means nothing and is totally unrelated to the muscular (thigh) problems he had previously.

Hope the lad goes well on his comeback. There is always a worry woken you come back after a long term injury that you pick up other niggling injuries. Saying that the poor lads career has been blighted by 'niggling injuries'.

Best passer in the team, has a brilliant record for us and our two midfielders at the moment aren't remembering their defensive duties. Seems a no brainer for me.

Will hopefully be a good fitness builder for him playing in the Ireland game/s

I honestly think we may see bobby playing 4-3-3 more often with a fit Gibson and Eto'o available.

They're playing Oman, so I wouldn't worry for Gibbo. It's not a competitive game, that will be a good fitness test for him.
