You were probably slated because you simply can't help yourself in being a negative git. Only guessing here...I generally swerve things you post.
Am I upset about that.....

It's only by looking at the negative aspects of a performance that a team can make improvements.

I think it was just too early in the season for us against a quality team who are ahead of us fitness/match sharpness wise given there CL involvement and charity shield excursions.

We handled them fine, even second half but at around 70 mins you just saw the energy drain out of the team. By 77 mins we were knackered. And Roberto didn't have enough subs to replace all the tired legs out there.

If that game and scenario had happened a month down the line we would of held out for the win, I have no doubt!

Get something against Chelsea next weekend, draw or win, and we'v got the same points total as last season after 3 games. But will have 2 title challangers out of the way early doors!

I love your positivity and agree with you up to the point that we surrendered a 2 goal lead at Goodison. This inability to close out games has to be tackled urgently.

One of the things that is really doing my head in at the moment, is how many flick ons Naismith wins in the air, and yet there is never anyone within twenty yards of him. This is simple football at it's most basic, but we don't seem to have grasped it. If it is not pretty enough for Roberto, then why do we play so many arial balls to Nais ?

The defending for both goals was abysmal. The worst thing was, that you always felt that if we conceded one, they'd get another, and so it proved.

Criminal that we've thrown away 4 points through posh defending and not being fit enough.

Right lads, my prediction for the win was on. The script was well written and I couldn't have asked for a better performance on my debut visit to Goodison. We let them rob them in the last 10 minutes. Defense panicked and the 2nd cross shouldn't have come in.

Apart from that, I can't describe the feeling I got when I entered the main stand. It was like a movie. The people sitting next to me were the friendliest people I've ever seen. Then again, this whole city is the same. The hair on ny neck and back were standing till the 90th min when they equalised.

Waited 2 hours after the game and got autographs of Mirallas, Pienaar, Barry, Mccarthy, Lukaku, Stones, Howard, Besic and pics as well. Jags, Baines and Bobby went out the other way so didn't catch them.
