I think a massive banner with what Rodgers said about Balotelli originally should be made for the Derby and hung from the Park End roof.

But, he is right about the code of conduct. It is just they have a completely immoral code of conduct that allows players to be backed to the hilt for racism, cannibalism and whatever else they want to do on the pitch.

It's the panic buy of the past few seasons this.

Gnashers is fooling just about no one with his 'family club' bollocks and his 'club code' stuff.

He's been laughed at by all the top strikers in Europe, and now he's back in for a player he and his assistants and briefed hacks dismissed as a leftfield suggestion 6 weeks ago.

There is (as even Bascombe conceded) no way to polish that turd.
