they didn't have any players at the WC? they've been able to start their best XI from the start (baring injuries) which in itself states how meaningless friendlies are when comparing teams' results

Thought we would have had some shape and upped it a gear today with a view to next week,slightly worrying,the team looks like it needs a boost,hopefully Lukaku,Mirallas and Coleman will come into the equation next week.

If that was our pre-season would you not feel like we'd over done it a bit? Far too many games, I couldn't give a hoot about any of the pre season results tbh. I'll worry if we get beat easily by Leicester in an actual game next week.

Friendlies are just extended training sessions in a match environment nothing more. We've not played our full strength team, we've played opposition that have used 6-10 substitutes, it's just part of the preparation for the season.

Really can't see what there is to worry about.
