Cant believe we've not won a game for 3 months. Diabolical this. I demand that murial destroyed at once. Pressure has got to him already.

Should of put bill up there. He's the only one who has stepped up this summer.

Who did we sign her from? Any good?

I have seen all the preseason games at this stage and as far as I am concerned we had two main problems in all of those games.

1. Carelessness from a variety of players which resulted in giving away stupid possession and a lot of silly goals. Look at the goals conceded in all of the games. It is hard to believe how many were from our sloppy play.
2. A lack of power and strength up front. We were not able to put opposing defences under enough pressure giving them too much time to play out of defence whereas we struggled to get the ball out of defence because we were not winning possession up front.

These can and will be remedied. Hopefully be next weekend.

Roberto Martinez conceded he was disappointed with aspects of Everton's performance in Saturday's 3-1 friendly defeat to SC Paderborn - but insists his side will be ready for a return to Premier League action next weekend.

The Blues went ahead in their final pre-season outing at the Benteler Arena but goals from Marvin Duksch and Daniel Bruckner added to a Moritz Stoppelkamp penalty to earn the hosts victory.

Everton travel to Leicester City for their first league outing of 2014/15 next Saturday and Martinez told evertontv: "Apart from the result, it was exactly what we wanted as a test.

"We wanted to have a trial of what we will experience when we go away in Europe and it was exactly that.

"But we came to a new environment and we started to get frustrated with the game, which started very well, but we lost concentration and we were a little bit soft in that respect.

"But the game served it's purpose and we know exactly what to expect now. We need to be strong and not give soft goals away.

"It's going to be a really good week now getting ready for Leicester, which is another challenge again.

"We're looking forward to it and getting back to playing league football."

They will be up for it next week, more intensity and fire.

Hard to get up for a meaningless kick about. We do need a new striker and a playmaker to go to the next level though

The worrying thing is that Everton are only ever two games away from full meltdown for many of you who post in the match threads.

Poor Roberto doesn't stand a chance really. Think back to the away game last season with that beaut having a go at Distin? Or the derby, Spurs and Chelsea defeats. Some of you were almost taking perverse delight in how it was all going to come crashing down and how Martinez et all had messed up.

It's as frustrating at the lids who post about Everton going to win the league and have the best midfield ever ever. It's sound to have a reasoned opinion somewhere in the middle, it's usually more accurate you'll find too.

Save the bell comments for twitter and try and keep the match threads a reasonable experience for most on here.

There's nothing reasonable about saying an awful embarrassing performance is anything other than what it is although I thought we where ok today although still a bit rusty.

What's unreasonable is drawing too many conclusions from it. I do agree that constantly going on about one player is counter productive but then again so is blind faith.

Leicester's pre-season, should we be concerned?

Ilkeston 1-6 Leicester City
Leicester City 1-0 Everton
Walsall 2-3 Leicester City
Preston North End 1-1 Leicester City
MK Dons 0-2 Leicester City
Rotherham United 1-3 Leicester City
Leicester City 1-0 Werder Bremen
