Made the wrong move at the wrong time. Probably found his level. He needs games to ressurect his career and he ain't gonna get them at Citeh.

If he was available for a bargain price or on loan I think we would have been in for him. We're pretty well-covered in that position now though and we couldn't afford to have two injury-plagued defensive midfielders (Rodwell and Gibson). Hopefully he does well at Sunderland and we'll buy him back when we need a replacement for Barry.

It might not be percentage based. It may be that we get the first £XM of any transfer fee.......

To the SMB, leave Hank Williams and his today's footy threads alone.

Rodwell was alright for us, complete [Poor language removed] in his final season and we bit City's hand off when they offered £12m for him, it was astonishing anyone was still interested. Obviously he's had injuries but there is a good player in there somehwere.

I think I would rather have Rodwell back than Cleverly though as is currently being reported by a few sources, it would have to be for about 3 mill with add ons

Why though. Cleverly is better and can actually play games. Rodwell can't actually play.

I don't think there is any chance we will sign Rodwell, but I think he might still come good and I don't like ex-man u players bar Kanchelskis . Then again maybe I'm just tainted by Neville

Injuries ruined him, hopefully he can pick up some form and get a run at Sunderland.
