Roberto is the face of Everton FC at the moment. Not sure if I agree the best way to portray that is on the main stand, but we certainly do need to roll with the fact that Roberto Martinez and his young charges are our image right now.

This. We're not becoming THEM. People get so antsy in August. I understand it's going to say SOLO LO MEJOR, which is consistent with the mentality of NSNO, and furthers the intent of underlining the way that the Lukaku signing is a statement of intent. That's how branding works, and I know how you knobs hate branding. Branding = money = more boss players for RM. I've heard the grumble since I first stuck my nose into this place those many moons ago how badly Everton play the whole marketing game. Have a glass of sweet tea and get out of the sun. There will be real football soon, and then you'll have enough to talk about.
