God awful 1st half in which every man was truly clueless but the introduction of a striker and dropping Cahill into midfield made a massive difference. Saha despite his glaring miss was MoM, as he completely turned the game on its head and spurred the others into action. Boro's goalie needs to have a look at himself though as he was awful for both goals

boro's goalie? what about howard, he was awful today. he didn't have control of his area and his handling on that freekick was dodgy.
dropping timmy to midfield and saha was the difference today. cahill's played in some positions for us now and he looked more than capable of playing arteta's role today, wouldn't mind seeing him be used there against stoke tbh.

I bet you were worried about your man Yobo as I was Howard. But King Louis is the real deal could of bagged another if he didn't think about it to much. But your right about Cahill once he played deep we started to not hoof it up the field and play some football. Very pleased with Fellaini today and guess what not a yellow to be seen. Happy days are indeed here again. (y)

The strange thing is i think he actually deserved one today, certatinly more than a lot of his yellows this season.

His arms were all over the place regardless of whether Huth or Pogatetz started it and he shew Halsey some dissent which many refs would of booked him for.

Perhaps on one occasion but Pogatetz was playing the thug today trying to get him all steamed up.
