Yes, but the winner of the World Series is touted as 'World Champions'.

And other nations do play the sport now, so World Series seems sillier. Baseball is all about tradition, so I wouldn't expect them to change it, but it's also fair that other nations consider it a bit arrogant, even knowing the origin of the word.

Still think American Football is the worst offender of this.

Let's be honest though. That's like saying we shouldn't call Real Madrid the best team in the world because they only won the Champions League and haven't won that jarg world tournament FIFA puts on. No club team anywhere in the world is going to beat the best team in MLB. They might not beat ANY MLB team in a 7 games series.

I don't know if someone has posted it, but I read about Neymar posting a picture after he had taken a battering from the Honduras players, are you ready for the absolute horror that they inflicted on him, it's pretty terrifying to look at, blood all over the place, here we go;

No just looked it up. Costa Rica made it in 1990 and then usa and mexico in 94. Not at the same time.

Would be huge if it could happen.
