Nice statGlen Johnson cost around as much as Manchester city's entire defence.
Let that sink in

The irony in Liverpool blaming a refereeing decision on them missing out on the title, if they hadn't have got the decisions they wouldn't be up their in the first place...
The Borneo rain forest is my favoured destination should the unthinkable happen
West Ham players where given four days off before this game, given it is the last game of the season I'll be hugely surprised if Carroll goes into this game anything under a stone heavier than last week.
As for Nolan, hope he scores the goal that put City on the way to the title today, the utter, utter, utter [incredibly offensive poor language removed] beaut!
actually went last year mate believe it or not
based myself in a town called Kuching which is the capital of the Sarawak region, that was before I headed off into the wilds of the Bako national park
on first arrival I hadn't got anywhere to stay, but a local recommended a place not too far up from the bus station
heads straight for it and what d'ya know ? guy behind reception is wearing a fkn Liverpool top !

Theres another £35 down the dunny. Don't blame folk doing it though as a few have bets on that can pocket them £700-800 but I just can't bring myself to spend a bean on that soiled name of theirs.
Mark Lawrenson Football analyst
"Liverpool's title bid has come off the rails in the last couple of matches but they have still had an outstanding campaign because, back in August, nobody saw them coming so close to winning it.
"People say they only have one way to play but Brendan Rodgers has not got enough players to do anything different and change the way he plays."

Martin Tyler then:
"I feel the nation are behind Liverpool today"
What a knob. Lost so much respect for the man the last month. Not so much because of favouritism, everyone's entitled to that, it's the why he tries to dress it up as the neutral perspective.
I work in the city centre, in our place there's about 2 blues, a Leeds fan, a Norwich fan, a Leicester fan, 3 Man U fans and a Rangers fan, the rest are Liverpool fans. Aside from the Rangers fan, who calls himself an adopted Liverpool fan anyway, everyone else wants City to win the title, I mean passionately as well. From guys I've spoken to in Uni, 2 Boro fans and a Villa fan, they want City, can't stand the idea of Liverpool doing it. I appreciate this is a small sample, but it's also pretty resounding to me. So I wanna know where this concept of the nation being behind Liverpool comes from.
