No. He's a good player but yesterday we're a better team without him imo.

He offers us something different but his lack of pace and his imobility lets us down at times imo.

Jo gave us the chance to utilise quick passing and pass and go methods we can use.

Also i think you guys are wrong on Fellani,

he is only 20yrs old, he is actually a defensive midfielder and once we get our strikers back he will be able to play his natural game and will become better

I like him, I'd love to see him do well but he doesn't fit into my future team. Rodwell does.

He fits where you put him in your line-up, left wing in midfield with Pienaar switching to the right.

I don't think we'd get him on the cheap, though. I'm sure a number of clubs would come in for him if Boro lost their PL status.

There could well be cheaper options out there. I'm going to say this one more time but Pennant is available on a free in the summer (assuming he's not agreed a crazy deal with Pompey). Get him in on the right and leave Pienaar on the left and I'll be quite happy at that.

Assuming we've got cash, we could then spend that elsewhere.

I was talking about Fellaini to be honest Neb. I think Downing would do well here, switching wings with Pienaar. He also supplied alot of goals for Yak at Boro and Moyes has been interested in the past.

I still think we can get a better and quicker winger for 10 million.

Mind you, most wingers are like Lennon these days with absolutely no ability at all. Just pace. Downing is a proper winger and supplys alot of goals. So i'd be pretty happy.

Downing's not slow but I see your point, we could get someone alot quicker. He is a better footballer than the likes of SWP and Lennon though, he's certainly offer more.
