That is what is being reported by someone on Man City forums, apparently he is reliable.

Trust Moyes, he knows what he is doing, as he has demonstrated time and again.

fernandez was great for us. loved him turning 3 arsenal midfielders in knots last season. apart from arteta he was the true quality playmaker in the team. mind 6 million for baines... surely 8 million for fernandez is good business!

If you are referring to the one I think you are, manny got himself in trouble got himself out and then played a simple pass to carsley (I think) and to be honest yes it was good to see and good to cheer, but a better player would have just made the simple pass or gone forward.

Manny is a prospect, one for the future, haven't you seen what de silva did at real salt lake? great skill and set up BT for an open net.

Bang on there teppic i would much rather we get him than baines,when he played last season our midfield was a lot more mobile

Definitely agree. I was still deep down hoping that we might still be able to get him, i'll be absolutely gutted to see him in a city shirt. Why does it only seem to be us who realises the guy is a genuine quality player.

I'm not saying we had the £12 million they wanted, but he is worth that much in this market, thats not inflated. Its been said he's one for the future, but i'd say he's one for the present, in our midfield he shone, even alongside Arteta he still stood out, what doest that say about him? Admittedly though his stamina wasnt great, and would his energy would drop by the end of games.

Yeah your right about his stamina maybe that would come with a good pre season
