Do you know what? I'd probably be sound with it. Buddhists don't get 'offended' or insist that everyone must follow their way of life. I spent time in Thailand and in a time of need instead of shunning me they took me in. I was [Poor language removed], randomly walking around a horrendous area of Bangkok after I'd kicked off coz the Canadians had taken my seat in the Ping pong show, I ended up in a temple and a couple of monks were shaking water at me and a Thai lady was trying to get me to chant prayers in Thai.

Can you imagine doing that shizzle in Pakistan or Saudi? I'm surprised I still have hands.

If it did you'd probably say they were trying to impose Islam on you.

As IF you just equated Buddhism with Islam. Oh my days.

Considering Islam's stated position on gays and women, which makes the Catholic church look empathetic and welcoming, I am quite surprised at the number of people on here who staunchly defend Islam. And take a long, hard look at the mob mentality treatment of Nik: intolerance at it's finest.

Back to the OP: Farage destroyed Clegg. Utterly wiped the floor with him.

They wouldn't though mate.
And that's the issue.

Islam isn't taking over society, yet.

It's purpose is to do that though.

Again, read the Quran. It's all in there. What I'm saying isn't some secret agenda. It's all there.

The same purpose all monotheisms have and have had, it's their purpose and raison d'etre, wipe out the competition. Israel is doing it, most obviously in Palestine, Christianity is doing it all over the world under the corporate economic model.

It's very tasteless this.

Who invaded Afghanistan? Who invaded Iraq? What were the Christian Crusades about? What does it say in the Bible about crushing non-believers?

You ignore the real danger by blaming the other, weaker, side. This weaker side (Islam) hasn't done anything of note relating to "taking over society".

It's like how the Star Wars films portrayed the Rebels as the Mujahideen and The Empire as the proxy Soviet/Nazi/GB/US superpower, in fact any Hollywood film portraying the underdog defending itself against an aggressive superpower is like this, yet most Western folk don't appreciate the irony of such messages (in most cases neither do the writers of such movies!).


It's also like how the bulky bully blames the little skinny kid he's beating up by expressing some kind of demented fear of him.

I don't understand your otherness, this makes me afraid of you. Therefore I must destroy you. And once I have destroyed you, you will have reason to want to hurt me. I will thus have to destroy you some more.


And the cycle continues...
