summer transfers

Gueye and Vellios i can see getting sold, maybe even Duffy too. Then we'll get our injured players like Kone and Gibson back then personally i think we'll sign at least 3 on a perm and use the 4 loans again. Our squad will be looking good next year.

Lets face it, we may have 30million to spend if we do the math, but we have a Board that are reluctant/unwilling to invest in the squad by that much in one fell swoop.

I just cannot fathom how they can't see that the investment would pay off in their return once the club is sold. Assuming they actually want to sell & aren't using the club as some tax write off.

linked with issac at barca on a free in the summer, he's suppose to be decent right?

as well as sergio garcia (i'm sure there's plenty), but the one from espanyol

I think we'll make more than 3 perm signings tbh mate. Think we need a young CB to come in under Distin's wing and eventually replace him, someone like Martins-Indi or Hector Moreno.

Think we will sign Barry permanently on a 2 year deal and we also need to replace Lukaku. I think we also need an all round attacking midfielder who can play anywhere across the attacking mid positions, maybe Tadic. We need some creativity up there, someone who can unlock defences and feed the striker endlessly in games which weve been lacking this season IMO.

We may even sign more player permanently IF we do go on and make Europe but I do think we'll fill the squad out then with a few, young loan signings from abroad.

But im looking forward to seeing what Martinez's plans are for next season when it comes to signings and the team, with a few good signings and a season on from implementing his style on the team, I think we'll be in even better shape next season!

Isaac Cuenca? He would be a signing and half! Is he really gonna be on a free this summer though?

Even with the new instalment of tv money in the summer, I'd be very surprised if we had more than £20-25m to spend before sales next season?!.

I know we sold Felli (£25m once we gave Standard there cut of the profit), Vic (£4m upfront) & Jelavic (£7.5m cos lets face it, Hull are staying up so we'll get all the fee) for good amounts but a big cut of all that went on McCarthy, Barry and Lukaku.

I know some will say McCarthy wasn't dependant on Fellaini leaving but come on, do you really believe that. And with the way the night went on deadline day, we signed McCarthy for the full £13m AFTER Felli left!.

By all accounts we paid £3m to take Lukaku on loan but im not sure wether that covers just his loan or wages on top?. And apparently were paying the majority, if not all of Barry's wages aswell. I read all in all weve paid between £5-6m to take Barry on loan?!.

So you do the maths. £13m for McCarthy + say £5m for Barry + £3m for Lukaku = £21m.

Take that away from what we got for Fellaini £25m, Jelavic £7.5m & Anichebe £4m which is £36.5m - £21m = £15.5m.

I think the board will put up £10m of the tv money again, unless were in Europe and Kenwright pushes the boat out, and that will leave us with atleast £25m+ to spend come the summer.

But we all know things don't quite go like that at Everton so don't be surprised if we have less than £25m to spend?!!

We clearly didn't spend £5m on Gareth Barry ffs

Lukaku to be sold at the end of the season, not to us probably. Trust Martinez knows what he is doing if funds are available

I think we are best to avoid him. He's not a 20m player for me.

given potential, i think he's worth well more imo.

he'll be one of the best strikers in the league - he just has everything. i think we'd eventually be able to sell him for around twice that as well as get a few good years out of him, if it were to happen.

but if that's all our budget then i of course would be dead against it

We have 30m to spend and it's not really a big secret. I am actually decently sauced on this, not even lying.

I dunno tbh. He's a big physical presence and he's pretty good at finishing but he'd really have to improve to be worth the outlay, whatever our budget.
