All we do is pass it around like a gang of beauts without getting anywhere at all, whilst frequently putting our own defence under severe pressure in the process.

We always need more creativity from deep midfield. Tuesday was a prime example of this. You can have all the attackers you want but if no one passes forward they're useless. It should always be one defensive mid and one creative passing one. We play two defensive mids and rely on our full backs and Ross Barkley to make up for it. We have never replaced Arteta.

We all need to consider the fact that just because sky sports hasn't reported it, doesn't mean it hasn't happened. SSN only find out about transfers when the clubs are both happy to make the announcement.

Heitinga deal could be done and everton could be working on a replacement..
