We dont need anymore creative players IMO, we do need someone to play deep though. Say we play City in the FA Cup, we also have them in the League, that means Leon Osman plays in midfield against Fernandinho and Yaya Toure, yeah, no thanks.

True but if this £10 million is true which it probably isn't seems a bit much for this position

exactly. if we sign this suarez on loan i'd be fine with that. Everyone wants a perm signing but as long as we have cover for barry and james, i don't care how we get it

Maybe but I was just saying he is decent cover for gibson. He's no Alonso in his passing. When ever I have seen him he's been a sitter break it up incept play it simple

We always need more creativity from deep midfield. Tuesday was a prime example of this. You can have all the attackers you want but if no one passes forward they're useless. It should always be one defensive mid and one creative passing one. We play two defensive mids and rely on our full backs and Ross Barkley to make up for it. We have never replaced Arteta.

I think they are similar needs honestly. We certainly lack a link between the midfield and strikers when Barkley is not playing.
