Transfer windows remind me of when I was younger. Everton are like 'that kid' who tried his best to fit in with the other lads, but his ma' couldn't afford to buy him a Lacoste track suit, so he'd end up with a cheap knockoff from St. John's market instead

In reality he left to a job that allowed him control to do things his way with his own people. Liverpool wouldn't have given him that freedom. Villa are a flaky outfit not good enough for the next step in his career.

I've seen enough of this feller now to be sure he is the real deal and will go on to a CL club here or more likely abroad. He's that good and if this fat headed fraud screws him about another window or so it'll be the end of the matter.

Never in a million years will this feller stick around the way Moyes did.

At Wigan he had a chairman who backed him, at least more than Alligator Arms has. At Liverpool, he wouldn't have had total control of things. Everton are a far bigger club, but he won't stay as long as Moyes did unless the rust is chipped off the money tap.

Reason Martinez came here is he knew he would be given time and control. Look at how many managers Villa have had and Woy wasn't given a chance at The ****e. He will hopefully be given a reasonable budget in the summer but it would be nice to bring some cover in at CM as we seem particularly short in this department!
