Yes this is good, but ONLY when we bring in proper replacements, otherwise it is pointless and counter productive.

We've missed out on Banega and Canales mate... Canales has went to the basques for £2.8m. We've signed a 17yo keeper and the fee for him was £1m. Obviously we haven't paid it all in one but come on lad. I'm fuming. No ambition whatsoever.



I don't even think we need a striker lad. I don't like Lukaku much but he will do a job as he has competition now. We need Barkley ect to have competition. This is why we should have got Canales or Banega. Ridculous Everton. Absolutely Ridiculous.

Mentally there's a readjustment around this time of the season. We cant fly too near to the sun, it's uncharted dangerous territory. So the acceptance of a poor transfer window is an accommodation with that fear and lack of belief.

Kenwright knows this and plays on it.

That's whay I say, someone like Martinez - who that line of thought is anathema to - wont be sticking around too long to get that stink on him.

Yeah, he stayed at wigan til they got relagted, Dave, when he could have chanced his arm at villa or liverpool.

He's far more loyal than he is ambitious. Which is good news for us, tbh.

I think a deep sitting CM to replace Barry is needed, he has looked really leggy recently.

Other than that a short term (quick-fix) striker that wont cost much, weather that be due to age (Berbatov) or on loan would be nice.
