Lukaku

Why are you on some weird hate campaign? Is it just to be contrary? Do you think you are setting some example by coming out and being one of the few who criticises Lukaku? I just genuinely don't get it how you can be so anti-someone who hasn't done all that badly for us.

I'm not on a hate campaign whatsoever haha. I've only really said 2 things as far as I can remember. This about lukaku and the fact that is it was Moyes yesterday he would have got bollocked. Same against liverpool this season.

He'd suit them over the road mate.

And i don't mean Lukaku.

Lukaku needs a bit of a rest, and to be taken off towards games when needed. He obviously doesn't yet have the stamina for 90 minutes premier league football every week. We just haven't had the luxury of a decent back up to him so far this season.
He'll be a different player once Traore comes in, plus having Barkley back will help too. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he's played more minutes this season than the entire previous season.

However that's no excuse for how poor his first touch has been recently, and even if you're out on your feet not chasing a loose ball like he didn't toward the end against WBA is inexcusable too.

What I'm saying isn't wrong. You started having a go at me for saying a fact about Moyes and Martinez and i'll say it in here as well so people can see how correct I am.

Martinez brought Stones on for Pienaar after we went 3-2 up vs Liverpool. They scored late on. Imagine if that was Moyes in charge.
Yes he is obv going to make mistakes and Im not being Si Currie. Why did NO-ONE mention this? I said as soon as stones came on, defensive change so they will score.

There is nothing Lukaku has done for us this season that would lead me to hate him. He's improved the team and the team conversely has improved around him. I just can't understand why you get so angry about him at all. He's not above criticism and I have been disappointed by his performance of late, but hate him? Just seems an odd thing to do to me.

I don't think it's really a tactical change as much as the players we had on the pitch v. WBA aren't as good as the players we'd have on if fully fit. Of course he gets better supply when some or all of Pienaar, Del and Barkley are in the midfield.

We still need to improve playing out from the back too -- we're still not good enough when being pressured but I trust RM will get it sorted.

We still have too much of the "we're boss and we're here so you'll let us win right?" attitude too. Mirallas pointed it out after the WBA game. It's a thin line between confidence (which is essential) and over-confidence. That's the real balancing act at the top end of the table.

Just one of them players lad who I don't like. Same with Jelavic & Kone. Obviously better than the pair of them two clowns.

Don't worry about that bobby he will get it sorted. Distin and Jagielka aren't Ball playing defenders. Stones looks good and Alcaraz but isn't he injury prone? I like watching this video.

The clip they show late on in the video

It was a tactical change, we basically played with two strikers against WBA. I don't think RM said "hoof it up to the big guy" but there was certainly no number 10 trying to link the midfield to the forward players.

He's not wrong, but the statement to me lacks some tact.

Product of English as a second language? Selective quoting by the reporter? Could be a number of things besides him getting tit-ish.
