There has been too much hype over Lukaku. He is a good player but not world class by any stretch of the imagination. I am not saying he won't become world class, but he aint there yet...not by a long chalk. Victor's ball control is massively better than Romelu's.

...and re the Anelka comments: talk about a set up. Romelu should have proffered a 'no comment' to the ridiculous question. I should not need to remind anybody who owns global media outlets. On ANY subject 'Jewish' related, steer clear.

Needs a quiet word from Roberto, dropping for the Stevenage game (as he should be anyway), and a line drawn under it. Daft, daft thing to get involved in.

Alan Myers of Everton on Lukaku video: " It is the player's opinion. It is not the opinion held by the club, however the player was asked..

......"the question and answered it. What we did as soon as we knew about it was take it down from the website immediately.........

........."because the last thing we would wanted to do was cause any offence to anybody."

"@LordDavidMoyes: Lukaku backs Anti-Semitic goal celebrations. Looks like those racist chants at Suarez have backfired on the Blues"

who's getting the t-shirts then lads?

Lukaku should have just said no comment. But as Jose has said "Lukaku likes to talk". Its a mistake and he's either uneducated on what people believe the salute to mean, or he's taking Anelkas words at face value that he didn't intend it that way.

Either way, extremely silly and I expect the club to have a quiet word with him.
