Got placed like that in S3. Oddly enough, picked up Garen for this season and so far I've won 6/7 placements with very good KDAs. Maybe matchmaking is finally being nice to me.

I've won 4 out of 5 with Zyra support lol.

Garen top is great these days, and he doesn't even need that much to be fed - just don't die early and be decent at farming...

In other news - I have friends who won 10/10 and are now in Bronze 1. I think somewhere along the line Riot had an "oops" (again) with the MMR.

Bloody hope that doesn't happen to me when I'm placed. I'd understand if it happening if I was carried in every game but really I'm doing the carrying...

It will most likely happen to you.

AFAIK it takes into account your previous MMR/rank in S3 and also if you've lost the first or last games (if you've lost 4 in a row and then won the rest after that you're less likely to be in a higher position than the opposite).

It is really cheap. You also get what you pay for.

Everybody's case is different, but I'd just look at getting a small home theater style PC that has an AMD APU. The new ones especially have really good integrated graphics, you'd be surprised at the number of things it will run well.

I believe I had a high MMR in S3 based on my understanding of the system. I would earn loads of LP for a win and much less for a loss, but I'd lose so frequently because of the teams that I'd get that it meant very little and I stagnated, staying in silver. I know I sound like most people when I say "it was the team, not me" but very rarely would I have a bad game. It'd be the silly throws you get in that tier that lose the game for me.

Oh well, here's hoping I get gold anyway.

Well you more likely than not will be in Silver/Bronze if you win all your promo's, or nearly all of them.

You can check your MMR from http://op.gg, even though it doesn't work now cuz of the season restarting and all that. I was exactly the same as you though, peaked at a few qualifications for Gold from S1, failed all of them and just gave up really.

Been playing that Lego marvel on ps4 a lot, so much that I've got kill zone still in the wrapper from release day. Anyone played kill zone, is it any good?

Played about 30 minutes (too busy with exams) so I can't say much other than it looks absolutely stunning but I suspect the story will be boring as most FPS stories are. The online was quite fun, even though I'm gash at it.

I haven't played online on ps4, because I'm not buying two separate ps plus accounts for me and my bird, robbing gets. I'll get it out later and have a go, she's playing that knack at the moment.

I only went and got a PS4 today didnt I?!

Traded in every tiny bit of PS3 ness that I had which added up to £185. A decent discount I reckon. Although a little embarrassing as it took the lad about half an hour to scan everything through and even more embarrassing when he got to the Zumba game I bought for mrs Ijjy a while ago!!

Anyway. Only had a little play.

FIFA is ace. Like stupid ace. Way better than the ps3 version and dare I say a little harder.
Played two games online and got totally dicked on in both. Soon. Goodison looks awesome too. Really awesome.

The other game I got was Killzone - Shadow Wotsits. Was a bit silly of me to choose that as I'm terrible at FPS'. But it looks great and who knows, maybe I'll get the hang of it.

Intend to pick up Need For Speed at some point this week too.
