Regardless of the merits of Jelli or otherwise he's obviously fallen foul of the Goodison curse which seems to affect our strikers after a relatively productive start to their Everton careers - Big Dunc suffered from it, Beattie had it in spades, Saha next - then Cahill and now Jelli has it too - can't buy a goal in their last seasons with us.
Still hoping it will turn round for him. Taking the phrase clutching at straws to a whole new level.
I still hope QPR this weekend could be his day... one final chance.

Sunderland away, boss night...
When Jela came on the pitch he was shouting at either Barkley/Osman was issuing them instructions.
Fair play to him, He hasn't given up and is still willing to work for the team.
Hope he nets a few against QPR.
With you on this mate....really hoping Jela starts the game, boss-slots a few and takes us to the Champions League with a 'worldy' at the Tin Mine on the way.
Honestly think when he gets one he'll get a good run of goals.

Watch those and tell me you don't deep down want nothing more than him to return to days of soss blotting.

Dilemma here for Martinez if he does want to move him on, since playing him v QPR will cup tie him and so reduce the chances of anyone wanting him.
