Oh dear.

They're obsessed.

I suppose they should be credited for saying "every away team" as opposed to DER MY-T RED MEN YNWA.

errr top left, isn't there someone miles offside in that one ???

The irony is that Mike Dean is from Bolton whose fans hate both City and United

I would argue that this gave Liverpool an unfair advantage last night

It's beyond stupid mate.

As Reidy posted on page 1181 of this thread regarding the match ref Lee Mason - the same ref gave Liverpool a pen to beat City at the Etihad two years ago.

I think it's one of those 'These are the facts' Benitez-type cracking up moments.

Look can we drop this. Brenda has stated that he was not questioning the ref's integrity, merely where he was from because erm, well, eh............well they wouldn't appoint someone from the Wirral to ref at Anfield, or should that be Bergen, oh fck it I haven't got a clue what the stupid b'stard is on about........

I thought all the refs were on the Man U/FA pay roll according to them, so why single this guy out?

Wouldn't it be funny if Chelsea beat them with an offside, last minute fernando Torres overhead kick this weekend.... The meltdown would be astounding.

right, i think we need to get this straight now. I thought it was alex ferguson who controlled the officials? Therefore, if he does, why would he influence their bitter rivals to win a game i.e. the team who are more likely to win the title than liverpool?

oh wait, it's normally chelsea's fault ... but if they're the ones controlling the officials, surely they would want a top 4 contender to beat their title rival?

FFS! This Liverpool FC will never catch a break. Remember last season when suarez was miles onside to win the merseyside derby last season and then the officials ruined it and thus liverpool's title dreams were over?

when the **** will that club catch a break? i feel so sorry for them.

To be taken seriously in the title race they need to have won one of them two away games over X-mas. You don't win the league by thumping Norwich and West Ham at home.

i think only beating two of the top 10 is a more telling stat as well. well stoke have just jumped swansea into 10th, so that's 3 now, but that was thanks to their keeper saving a 90th min pen in the opening game. but stoke won't finish top half.

mind you they've played a lot of them away if i remember correctly, so should be an easier 2nd half to the season. They'll be hindered by gerrard's return though.

We are having two different conversations.

I am not defending Skrtel. Skrtel holds more shirts than any tailor on earth.

No, mate, you're excusing him. You're saying everyone's at it; I'm saying he's the worst. He doesn't just shirt pull, he wrestles opponents to the ground.. almost.

what do you mean almost? he's so hard he goes to burger kind and orders a big mac, surely he can wrestle a guy to the ground!

can't wait for an opposing manager to highlight this before a match against them. surely refs watch videos and are aware of it. If both going for the ball are going to pull shirts then fine, let them do it, just book them both and give no foul. if they do it again, book them again.

The thing with skrtl is, that half the time he's not even looking at the ball, he's just looking at the player giving him a WWF bearhug.

takes a pretty talentless individual to not trust his own ability to win a header against an opponent.
