ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I'd go easy on the 'City bumming the RS' stuff, if it happens great but its by no means a guarantee an you could end up with egg on your face if they get a result, City have go nowhere near the best defence in the league and apart from Aguero Liverpool do have the best Striker (although he very rarely does it in the big game and certainly away ones)

Good on LFC, enjoy your moment

I'd love to criticse this match, but it really is fun to watch. I mean, the defending isn't great, but what a exciting 90 minutes!

What are you on about? He's played 25 games and was absolutely on fire for the first 13. Where are these countless times coming from? To illustrate my point, if memory serves, since he joined, we've only lost 1 game in which he has started.

To be honest, it's hard to replace a player like that. There aren't many 21 year olds who have played at the level he has that can go straight into a first team as a play maker. We have attacking midfielders. It's the like-for-like replacement that is difficult.

As for our transfer spending, it is complicated by a change in owners and changes in manager. Our spending is not as high as you'd think, particularly when you factor in wages, and the amount recovered from sales. Obviously it is higher than what you guys typically spend, but that's not saying much.

Do you actually believe that or is it years of not being able to mention such facts on RAWK made you ignorant to it?

Do you ever question why you are not a regular fixture in the top 4 seen as money spent/wages deems you should be there every season? Not having a go mate, just honest questions I don't understand. You've apparently had all these great managers like Rafael and King Kenny yet you've only once threatened to win the league and for the last two season have been mid-tableish.

Laughing at the KKKult members who can't even issue a general 'Merry Christmas' on facebook without adding YNWA at the end of it. They really ought to consult their doctors - this is NOT healthy.

in case you haven't noticed mate, i'm an everton fan so of course i haven't seen every one of his 25 games. i have seen him in most of the games vs the better teams in the league though and well, his name doesn't get mentioned. 1 goal and 1 assist this season. Leon Osman - 2 goals and 3 assists.

if he's as good as you say he is, why were a team who finished 9th in the not so highly rated italian league not too arsed about him leaving?why couldn't he get in there team?
You said that you watched him be ineffective many times. I took you at you word. If you meant to say that he didn't impress you vs Everton and that you haven't heard Lawrenson mention his name many times on MOTD, then just say that.

His assists are lower than last season, but this is misleading as far as his importance to the team is concerned. He leads the league in clear cut chances created (total) as well as the frequency with which they are created (/min). Also factor in that (a) Liverpool have hit the woodwork more than any other side and (b) the pass immediately preceding an assist is not quantified. The most telling stat is that when he has started, we have lost only once, whereas we have lost every game in which he hasn't.

Ah yes the good old Woodwork Class/League.. for those who can't cope with realities like (recent) History, Current Affairs, Mathematics (real league tables), Religion (unless it's Cults), (proper) English Language (unless it's a modern Uruguayan grasp of it) Music (instead of one awful tune) and other subjects...
