He is an immense player like, hopefully he will bin them off soon.

Just been reading their Everton thread on their forum. It's depressing reading as quite a few of our fans that they're quoting come across as bitter loons.

Football fans in general are massive hypocrites when it comes to their own team. They do have an amazingly large quota of them though.

Yeah we've both got threads about the others, both pretend the others don't bother them, and both spend a lot of time posting things that are bang out of order. There's no moral high ground really.

Apparently a blue wreath is 'crass', 'tasteless' and 'disprespectful'. They don't really say why, they just worked themselves up into a self righteous fury.

Which is what they do best, I guess.

Solomon Grundy has had a bash at explaining why the blue wreath was disrespectful, unfortunately he isnt the sharpest tool in the box and comes up with this, frankly ludicrous, explanation...

It is a symbol of the blood(which is without doubt RED, unless your an alien) that was shed by fallen soldiers in the Great War and every conflict since. And the fact that you can't bring yourselves to present a wreath of RED poppies just because they're the same colour of that club across the park that many of you can't even bring yourselves to say the name of(sad bastards), is why we see it as tasteless and disrespectful. Colour should never even enter your thoughts on an occasion like that. But it has and that's really sad. What's even sadder is that none of you have realised how sad that it is yet.

The poppy was chosen as the symbol of the fallen because it was the flower that grew in the killing fields of the First World War.

I feel I have improved you, Mr Grundy, but it is the season of goodwill so i don't want any thank yous or presents etc. Just accept my lesson and remember it next time you're about to embarrass yourself. :)

Funny how the [Phrase removed] on rawk are saying that blue poppies are "crass" and "tasteless". They are are offended by everything, but ofcourse ashamed of nothing, as a few years ago proved when they had their "steaua bucharest 86" banner. I'd say that was "tasteless" Murdering shameless bastards.

Odd thing to get worked up about, it's not some sort of calculated insult to the dead. A member of the Royal Air Force was carrying it and all.

That Solomon Grundy is f*cking weird.

True.

They say we had the blue wreath because we can't stand to have the colour red anywhere near us, yet one of them posted this picture!

They're just so frustratingly odd, so fist bitingly obstinate, so hair pullingly deluded... honestly no other set of people are quite like them. A weird, weird cult.

If I had the power to invent and construct a forum to paint them in a bad light I don't think I could do a better job than the RAWKites have done themselves.
