Quite unbelievable but believable at the same time.
The summary is just ace.
24 April: Banned for 10 games by the Football Association for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic
29 May: Drops a big hint he wants to leave Liverpool by saying he finds life in England hard
12 June: Reiterates his love for Liverpool, but insists life in England is very hard
8 July: Liverpool turn down a £30m bid from Arsenal
24 July: Arsenal offer £40,000,001 for Suarez, believing it triggers a clause in his contract
2 August: Sources say Suarez will consider a formal transfer request and the possibility of court action if dispute with Liverpool is not resolved
7 August: Suarez says he wants to leave Liverpool to join a Champions League side
8 August: Told to train alone by manager Brendan Rodgers, who says the player has shown "total disrespect" for the club.
Now Rodgers is on the radio saying how much Suarez loves Liverpool and always has, and how he epitomizes what its like to be a Liverpool player (not wrong there), whilst offering a new contract putting him far and away on the highest wage in the clubs history lol.
You can do what you want to their image if you score goals... Biting, racism, cheating, diving, injuring opponents, they won't care.
Their morality and dignity has been replaced by a weird bitter desperation to be noticed again as a big club regardless of the means to do it, and in doing so they make themselves look smaller than bad results ever could.
Liverpool of old, would not of been bullied and mocked by a player the way they have been by Suarez.
