And people like me who take this view aren't against singing, quite the opposite. I'd just hate for 90 mins of constant indistinguishable chants to just become white noise to the players.

Goodison is unique - the players react to the fans, and the fans react to the players.

Some games will be better in atmosphere than others, but I'd rather keep a genuine atmosphere for most games, that have a plazzy one for all.

I was trying to sing songs vs Wigan when it was 0-0 mate in the lower Gwlady and no-one was joining in. Done the same when 1-0 down and people were going downstairs because we conceded. Then when we went 3-0 down, people started singing :/ Quite strange

There was loads of singing at the back of the St End up until the goal, even a boss rendition of Onwards Evertonian

I'm pretty sure our poor style of play that day and poor decision making was the factor and not the singing or lack of it.

Not sure how fans can change sh*t football. Other than boo and moan and groan at them to show displeasure and does that matter anyway to them?
