Why would pienaar be dropped?
 

They will beat us comfortably there front three will pressure our defenders into mistakes and they will outscore us pretty easily, we haven't created a decent chance for 180 minutes 90 of those in a game where we had 72% possesion and still couldnt muster anything, they are a much better team.
 
I fear the worst.

IMO ( and I have been saying it for weeks) we are no where near as good as people are suggesting (nor our almost 2nd place in the league last week). My non-everton mates keep satying how chuffed I must be. Well I am not. We look ordinary. Play well for 1 half of each game and badly the other.

The sh1te will tear us apart for one half at least and they have the ability to score a few in that time (not like shot shy spurs, west ham,norwich, west brom etc who we have played badly against).

it's not all doom and gloom, martinez is playing with someone else's squad - this time next year I expect us to be much better.....

We'll win by a goal or two. I always look at CM in Derbies and I feel very confident we have a good edge there, with Barry and McCarthy over Lucas and Gerrard. They're not mobile at all in there and I can see Barkley getting away from those two with ease and dictating matters. Their CBs are a joke for me. Nowhere near as solid as ours can be. Lukaku has taken these ****s to the wood shed in the past and I think he'll be well up for this game. Upfront they have the sewer rat who can cause problems to anyone, obviously.

We need to do what Swansea did to them 2nd half in their match: get that ball knocked around with a lot of fizz on it and get our quality players on the ball and running at them. Look what Mirallas did to them last season in this fixture.
 
Funny how over the years people slated Moyes and the team for being too negative and failing to perform in the derbies, yet lots on here are predicting a loss 2 weeks before the game.

That's another advantage: manager. I think ours is bolder. Liverpool haven't come from behind to win this season and if we can get in front they dont suggest they have a manager who can come back to win. In this Derby, maybe first goal isn't going to be fatal for us, though.
