I don't care if we go out or not of the League Cup, because as a competition it isn't and shouldn't be a focus of ours. We've used a rotated squad and the cup is there for that to happen. If we win with a rotated squad, that's great, but I don't think going out of it requires a full on meltdown and criticism of the manager for simply doing what every other Premier League club invariably does.

If they want to come they will regardless of playing in some jarg second string CL comp

But right now, we don't get nearly as much exposure as we warrant, for a variety of reasons. If we are competing in a jarg CL it will mean we are more regularly on telly, more regularly sexing teams to oblivion and generally in the public eye that little bit more. I'd love it if we could swerve all the cups, concentrate on the league and cruise to fourth, but winning this competition, right now, would have been an opportunity to superficially raise our profile again.

That doesn't make sense mate. If you want to win everything you play in then you need to focus on that game (i.e. tonight)

I don't RM used this has some exercise to rotate his squad, he wanted to see what they could do. And they should have won, bad day at the office.

Can't believe people are saying they wouldn't want to win the League Cup, nothing beats the feeling off see your team lift a cup, any cup. Its an unreal experience

I want us to win a trophy and play in the europa but I doubt many players care much at all.
