Misc. Transfer Rumour Thread

Lol at Everton making a big deal of "always in for McCarthy regardless of Fellaini" - WHAT THE ****? He was OUR player, under contract and apparently we are in a fantastic financial position. Completely baffling.

Small time [Poor language removed] at Everton.

Also it seems we must have said [Poor language removed] off about Baines as it has gone very quiet. He deserves a lot of credit the way he has handled this window.

They bidded 15mil for Baines and we said no. That was the end of it. Yeah the Fellaini deal was defo part of the McCarthy deal, we wanted to pay 20p a day for him

Let's clear this up though.

And I'm being generous here overlooking the 9m we 'had' for Leroy Fer in January...

We've sold Fellaini for 27m, which works out about 24m after Liege take their cut. Victor has gone for 5m. That's 32m gained in sales.

We've paid max 13m for McCarthy, say 1.5m for Lukaku loan, nothing for Barry loan, 5m Kone and 2m Robles.

24m + 5m = 29m
-
13m + 1.5m + 5m + 2m = 21.5m

Sell to buy, again. Shocking. And like I say, close to 10m completely vanishing from January.

Will there be money available in January?

What has happened to the BT money that virtually ALL other clubs have spent?

Don't get me wrong, I am made up with Lukaku, but McCarthy at that price and especially Barry don't fill me with confidence. Plus Kone is completely ****e and now not needed with Lukaku there.

Another sad transfer window. Bill and his "I'll give him a few quid", well, no, you didn't. You made him sell our best player and didn't even give him all of THAT money to spend.

I think this has been an absolute mess, not helped by those [Poor language removed] Mancs and our [Poor language removed] EX. LIverpool had all theirs sorted hours before the deadline.

I really wonder what was actually going on.

What part was down to our chairman,

What if any part of this did was Roberto involved in

In the main I think down to an incompetent chairman.

"A lot of the drama happened earlier in the week with Kevin-Prince Boateng's surprise move to Schalke and a few clubs got stuck in 'chains' today - Feyenoord were planning to use money from selling defender Bruno Martins Indi to Everton to offer free agent Otman Bakkal a deal, say Voetbal International, but the former falling through meant they had to can the latter."

Anyone know what happened with this? Is the Anichebe deal for real, haven't seen any confirmation (or even a mention) anywhere....

stop crying. We've had a fantastic window. who gives a **** if we havent spent? that extra £15 - £20m could pay off half our debt and give us an extra £5m a year to spend

If we are to believe McCarthy was not dependent on felli... And if anichebe is sold and taking into account loan fees etc we should have 20mill plus to spend in jan if not 25... Tbh i was nervous but lukaku pushed it over the edge into happiness....

What makes me happier is getting 27.5 for fellani... Put that in your pipe and smoke it Moyes you **** with your 17 mill bid and "id have let them go if I was Everton manager, I know how Everton work" clearly you don't anymore ha ha ha ha ha
