Right Robles and Alcaraz have been signed for a total of 2m, Robles is by far better cover for Howard than Mucha and Alcaraz is a no lose signing because he's on a free

The important thing is those two are not even playing, They are back up so I don't see the massive problem with them

Kone I dont know, What I won't do is right the lad off after 120mins of football because that would be daft

But back to your point, I don't know and don't care, I asked could McCarthy be blamed for Wigan going down? You can not rate a player on that surely, Keane being brought up is a good comparison

I do think the lad is a bit overrated - and maybe it's too late with Arsenal having turned his head, but having Pienaar, Gibson, Cabaye and Mirallas with Ross behind a striker would be decent, Cabaye would cost less than Felli and most likely earn less as well.

I like this McCarthy lad, but whatever Dave Whelan wants for him will be too much.
