And yet for some reason im not happy. Mostly because we should be much higher given our fixtures. Now we have tougher fixtures ahead, and will probably drop more points than last year.

When you look at our fixtures for November and December, with the exception of Chelsea, they are all teams we can beat on paper. OK Villa are on form, but I'm positive. Things are looking up. COYB(y)

im with you there dom.apart from i thought the past month was the toughest part of our fixture list.

to me it seems we have only really started the season proper at utd last week.even then we still havent played anything like the football i would like us to play.

looking at the table today i am a happier bunny though.

we have 2 months now to get our heads down , gel , get some points on the board , then the transfer window is open again. then i expect there to be just as much fireworks and upset as there was in the summer.

Agree, that we should've had more points on board at this time in the season, but I'm not afraid of the fixtures ahead. With gaining confidence by our last two wins, I'm very hopefull or football will improve.

I'm also confident, we can beat Aston Villa. They're in form at the moment, but a lot of things can happen in a couple of weeks. Also, don't see why we shouldn't get anything from the Chelsea game? Refuse to give up beforehand, COYB(y)

Last year we went 15 games unbeaten, thats why we did as well as we did. It'll be a tremendous and welcoming feat if we pulled that off again. But who knows COYB(y)

its an awkward fixture list isnt it.
the next 4 are good teams which are desperate for a win.
then the next 3 are european place rivals.
we are gonna have to fight tooth and nail for every point

btw i think we will get 13 points from those 9 matches also.

As I'm ever the optimist I think we'll get a few more points from these fixtures.

27/27 is in our reach.

This is not being overly optimistic. I truly think we are capable of this feat, we just need the team to remember it also.
