Im sure he hasnt made it up, he does strike me as a decent fella, but ive known him to be "misinformed" in the past, but thats the nature of the ITK business, football is an ever changing business.

As Martin said, he'd be asking to be lynched if he's making it up or saying something he knows doesn't have any weight to it. Let's just keep out fingers crossed eh?

Will say this though, if we do lose him then none of this "how could you do this to us?" cringe like the kopites are doing with Hannibal Lector, embarrassing. If he doesn't want to stay then he doesn't want to stay, accept it and move forward regardless.
