Same happened with the managerial vacancy.

I dont know why this has happened. But it's a real turn for the worst this creeping conceit over where we are.

problem is we cant sign fulham/sunderland style players whilst the likes of swansea/southampton etc. bid for the likes of lovren/bony/chadli etc. otherwise we will fall behind, we over achieved with moyes but even at times when we could only bring in the likes of beckford we fell a couple of spots down the table, hopefully RM was hinting today that he is looking elswhere and its just paper talk at the moment as I woul rather we targeted better standards of players look at mirallas £5-6 mil, that chaldi would probably go for that, you have a pool of belgium/spanish/german/S. american talent out there to look at which is what we should be doing, Villa have started doing it as have swansea and both we will reap the rewards villa having benteke and weiiman and swansea having the likes of michu, de guzman, hernadez, chico etc. all who would be decent squad additions for us

Bit unfair lumping Saha in there. He had a similar goal scoring record with us compared to Kone's this season and more talent in his little toe than Kone has in his whole body.

So that's your logic to sign another underwhelming striker? We've had bad ones before so let's sign another one? That makes zero sense. Kone is fine, but is he really going to make a difference? I don't think so. I think he's a 12 goal/season player. It's nice, but it won't make us take a step up.
