Nathan Redmond

It's probably news fed to Sky by Alan Myers to get Spartak to stop fannying about over a fee for McGeady.

Can people please stop linking him with gueye gueye was slow as a tractor but had decent crossing. Redmond Is predominatinly a right winger who is ****n rapid and Is a good dribbler but his end product needs work. At worst we get a late sub who can stretch defenses and make us a dangerous counter attacking option

Not sure about this guy

But for two million well
Worth the chance over someone like mcgeady at 6m who will never be better than he is now and he's not even that good!

Redmond has potential and needs a challenge at a higher level. Younger than Barkley but already in the u21's so he can't be that bad. For 2m surely a risk worth taking as we are desperate for a right winger to help Coleman. That way we can play mirrales as an attacking mid which is more his role

I've heard we want him and he wants to come here but we can't afford him until we sell fellaini. Sad if true but a rumour. Very sad.

On a side note whoever agreed to a release clause and more so the amount! In fellanis contract needs to take a look at themselves. For me it's just an excuse for kenwright to get away with selling one of our better players every summer.

Redmond would cost £2m, I don't see why we would have to sell to get him.

The reason Fellaini has a clause was part of the bargaining for his new contract, it's extremely common these days, I don't see how it is Kenwright's fault. You should be blaming Fellaini's agent instead.

In anyway.... I think Fellaini's reported buyout clause is a good evaluation of him if we were serious about selling him..... Any higher and I think we would struggle to get any serious interest in signing him... No club would really want to fork out shed loads for him atm with other options on the table....

Redmond is a good shout for 2 million.... I suspect it may be a little higher than that in reality though.... And there will be substantial future fees as well.... He is miles ahead of McManaman who I do not rate at all....

Now this is more like it!

I'm not one for buying squad players, to me you buy a better first 11 player thus relegating other player to the role of squad player. However if you are going to buy for the squad, then young cheap players with bags of potential is the way you do it...not average overpriced players who ain't gonna get any better (McGeady, *cough cough*)

Selling guaye would cover most the fee for this lad, who doesn't look to far behind zaha at 10% of the price. Obviously wont be ready to make any major impact next season but I'd bring in Donovan aswell who he could learn off and be a natural successor. 2 players for less than the cost of the rumoured McGeady.

We need more replacement wingers, especially at right mid and £2 mil is a great price. The only possible concern is if he is the "right character" but he seems decent enough from interviews.

How's his SWAG?

Off the hizzy ooooorrrrr he smashin wid da butterface?
