Well we are now out of the Carling Cup, the UEFA Cup and we have just been stuffed by the RS. I believe it would be churlish to apportion blame at this moment in time whether it be Moyes, Kenwright or a combination of both.
However we are playing absolutely [Poor language removed] football at the moment and something has to be done. I have my own ideas about this situation but I don`t think they would go down very well with the folks on this forum so I shall keep my powder dry.
Before all and sundry classify me as a doom and gloom merchant, glass half empty etc., it may be best to think about what happened last evening. We appeared clueless as to how to open a team up. Liege were happy with the result at Goodison and it showed.
Our season would appear to be over as we are not going to win the PL and our record in the F.A. Cup is less than impressive.

Oh dear I don`t feel at all well.

Are you serious!? We've won it 5 times and until only recently we'd been in more finals than any other british team.

So we're out of the Carling Cup, big whoop! Yes its dissapointing we're out of Europe so early, but we can now focus on the FA Cup and the league.

You have to have heart to win things. We dont have it. It's a fractured team, squad, organisation.

Duncan9 is right. Last night was a season-ending non-performance.

One game doesnt end a season. We're in a poor run of form, but football always runs in degrees of form, once we get it back we'll go on a winning streak and people will be talking about possible europe contention again. I dont think we'll go that far this year, but one game isnt going to finish us off.

It's not 'one game' though is it? It's a trend stretching back to the end of the Fiorentina game last season. We are in the doldrums. We haven't looked like a team that could win a match this season. To entertain thoughts of an FA Cup win is fantasy. Like it or not, we are playing for pride now.

The majority of this forum agree that something has to be done so any ideas would probably be welcomed more then anything.

Yeah but thats just it though, we're low on confidence, something will happen that gives everyone a lift and we'll go on a winning streak. You can just get a few lucky draws in the FA Cup and you never know.

I am affraid Duncan9 is correct, our season is over two months into the new season. Going out of Europe at the first hurdle is the icing on the cake for what as been a miserable time for Evertonians. Something is clearly wrong behind the scenes at the club but we dont no what.

Zero, I would remove certain players from the team. Unforunately one of these players is a particular favourite on this forum although I would have him out in a flash !

Interesting... If you don't want to say it out in the public forum PM me who you think needs replacing I might agree with you as there are certain players I'm not happy with.

The season is not over, we're 6 games in and plenty of opportunity to make things up yet. New players will bed in, form will improve. The time to worry is if we're still in this position 75% of the way through the season.

Everton is still the [Poor language removed] best ever, David Moyes is still the king at the throne and we will come back fighting. COYB
