This was one interview. I'd say it's more likely the translation is correct than for it to be twisted conveniently. It's not Tribal Football.

You dont think sky twist words in interviews then?.. of course they do, all news sources do to suit their needs.

He doesn't even speak English that well, perhaps he meant 'in the next couple of seasons' perhaps he didn't. End of the day we'll see.

Belgiums current crop of players seem to be complete bellends tbh, Benteke has already said he wants out of villa, mirallas and felli talking of moves away and who can forget hazards disgraceful "the next club I will be playing for is......" interview disgraceful to their clubs

If Moyes is still at Eveton will he say the same thing today? No.

If we had appointed someone with high calibre will he say the same thing today? Probably not.

Maybe all these internationals don't see a bright future ahead and want a move. That's why they say these thing in public...whoring in front of the cam hoping Real Madrid will come in for them.

what you got to remember that a player who has only been here one season is not going to assume his long term future is here for a number of reasons. not all to do with whether he wants to go.. his English not good enough yet to come out with the staged nonsense that other players come out with that all ultimately means nothing. but you know what, lets boo him.. get him out the club... a decent player and someone who could be a great player for us for a few years... may as well make it less likely he will play well for us... then we can get half what he is worth. I am going to bed till this transfer window is over knowing I will wake to see a teamsheet featuring Mirallas, Baines and probably Fellaini for our first match

What he said will be twisted in him wanting to go to spain this comming season etc-he didnt exactly say i want to go now,[when he said no such thing],the future he might do but not now

It wasn't. The interview -

Kevin :" for maraoune and me is welcome to Everton, for maraoune it's possible he change team...maybe I stay in Everton"

Interviewer " you looking forward to working with Robert Martinez? What do you know about him?

this is his (kevs) genuine reaction when asked

TOVnyyi.jpg

He the. Says " yeah he is a good trainer, for emits very good cos I speak Spanish cos my Spanish better than my English"

Interviewer " you've spoken about wanting to play in Spain one day that's in the futures it ?"

Kevin : " I don't know but ....maybe next season? I dunno"

Interviewer " really!"

Kevin " laughs"

Interviewe" so you are maybe looking to go to Spain? Is that your ambition?"

Kevin " yeah cos my father is Spanish, it's good championship ..but I like playing in England and I like playing for Everton".

Oh dear Kev.

And actually judging by the interview it sounds to me that he isn't really looking for a move, is happy at everton and would one day like to play in spain.

the problem is martinez will be seen as a relegated manager to the top players, he is off IMO would love him to stay as he's my favourite player but thats the way club is going imo scary times ahead
