I can only see the announcement being that he IS staying. An announcement that he's leaving before the season ends makes no sense.
I wish I was as confident as you about funding. Kenwright and that board will fight Moyes all the way. I can see this ending in tears in 12 months time when we're treading water or worse and no extra funds and Moyes is stuck with a fanbase sick to **** with him.
If this announcement was he's staying it'd be done before Sunday. He's off and they want us to give him a good send off.

Lets consider for a moment that there is no annoucement due.
If ginger bollix stays there better be money for rebuilding (and by that I mean strengthening not recycling).
Sick of Moyes' constant grumbles but caving in to the board.
If he's off: thanks for the effort and good luck...and then hope to **** we dont get some balloon.
thats possible scenario but think about it, Moyes has had enough too imo, he wont sign if same ol' same ol' continues. no way
Why would it be done before Sunday? You know what a showman Fat Head Kenwright is. He's looking to get a big feelgood end of season send off with his mug all over the proceedings.
Besides, Moyes going into the last game as manager/not as manager? Unlikely.
You don't think he'd use all that before a local derby??? End of season games are usually all good anyway. with a lot of eyes pointing his way as a Merseyside derby is still a massive game.
I dont want Martinez if Moyes goes.
I want a streetfighter.
A Northern Irish streetfighter.
A Ginger streetfighter.
A Celtic streetfighter.
CELTIC’s title win this season means they are statistically the worst SPL champions.
The Hoops suffered a seventh league defeat of the season as Motherwell came from behind to beat them 3-1 at Fir Park.
With just three games left, Celtic – who are 12 points worse off than this stage last season – can only reach 81 points.
And they will now end up with the lowest winning points tally for the SPL since the split was introduced in season 2000-01.
Neil Lennon’s side now have beaten their own record.
When Gordon Strachan’s men won the title in 2006-07 they lost six games on the way to the trophy and amassed 84 points.
If Celtic lose another game it will be the first time they have lost more than seven in the SPL since season 1999-2000 when they lost nine and finished 21 points off Gers.
I know your a big lennon fan so I imagine you might be interested in the below daily record article .
