CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Don't want to alarm anyone but...my reliable source told me that Whelan, Kenwright, Martinez and Moyes where all in a meeting at Whelan's hotel in Wigan last night.

So this means we are probably definitely going to sign James McCarthy.

After originally being apathetic about the possibility of Martinez being our next manager I've decided that I'd be a bit pissed off if he came in now, there's at least 2 better realistic candidates in this league alone.

I must admit that the thought of bill employing a manager who spends most of his time in the drop zone and appears to be going through the trap door this year....a super popcorn summer.

Old Teflon Bill would put himself in harms way if he went down that path.

If we get Martinez then I'll get right behind him and I'll try and convince myself that he's the best man for the job. I like the way he gets his side playing sometimes but let's be honest when we're on form Moyes gets us playing some fabulous football at times.

He's only 39 though and he could well go on to become a very good Premier League manager. It's a massive step up for him if he does get it and I think it's possibly a few years too soon for him.

I dont want Martinez if Moyes goes.

I want a streetfighter.

A Northern Irish streetfighter.

A Ginger streetfighter.

A Celtic streetfighter.

If he leaves in the next 12 months I think he'll get a championship job maybe at a push a relegation threatened prem side but I think that's his level at best .

Mcleish- Birmingham*
O'neill - villa (having reached a European final & based on the success of his previous career in England )
Strachan - middlesborough*
Mowbary - Ipswich
Walter Smith - everton

Clubs challenging for the top four don't appoint old firm managers and that's for a reason in my opinion .
