Would Peter Reid make a good manager for us?

Just wondering about some die hard Everton players. Would Reid or Ferguson (even as his assistance) make a good manager? Also would you want Andy Gray

No mate, Reid was a fairly awful manager in the 90's and 00's.

Absolutely nothing to suggest he'd be better after how long out of top level management.

Peter Reid was a class player and legend in my eyes........ but he wouldn't even make a good omelette for us now.

It's getting worse, at least we havent heard any calls for Walter Smith.

I can see the argument for having people with a passion for your club around the place. Passion is no substitute for skill and ability at the very top though and Reid is proven not to have it IMO.

Edit - That said I'd have loved him to be in the dressing room at Wembley last year when we rolled over. Perhaps he might have some use as a coach?? at the younger level where hunger matters a lot?

I agree, but I want a manager with passion as well as Skill. Just nervous of who will replace Moyes if/when he goes. Although I have a feeling it might be slaven Bilic

I honestly don't think our board will have given it a thought at this point mate. Why would they?

Moyes will let them know by the end of April and thats when they'd give it some thought then.
