Would Peter Reid make a good manager for us?

As much as he my favourite Everton player from my lifetime, Reid has had his chances managing in the PL and didn't quite pan out. So no thanks.

Would be nice to have some ppl in the back room staff that give a **** rather than picking up pay checks. At least the younger gen would respect them and the so called super stars "Royston etc" would actually know their here to do a job and not just for a pay check waiting to move on. We don't have the money like other clubs but the one thing we have which money can't buy is pride, passion and loyalty. Money can't buy this, we need this from the ground up to make us able to compete with money. Makes no sense but hopefully u know what I mean.

Just hire Duncan to stand in the dressing room before kickoff, at halftime and after the final whistle. He won't have to say a ****ing word.

I know the idea of an ex-Everton player as manager sounds boss but it sounds boss in the same way that having a squad made up entirely of scousers who were boyhood blues sounds boss.
It'd be boss on footy manager. In real life you need to be more practical.

This managerial game could go any number of ways - Moyes might walk, might get promised money (then not get it - and walk) or, even less likely he stays, gets some (real) money - not just 80% of what we receive in transfers and gets to buy 3-4 decent players to make up a squad of 20. If only. Whatever miracles Moyes is supposed to have achieved one of them has not been to find a spare £20M down the back of the trophy cabinet.

Good bloke is Reid, very popular with Plymouth fans after all he did for them. However, godawful manager. Not that it was entirely his fault, the club was (is) rapidly disintegrating.

To be fair our backroom staff is full of people you'd expect to care. Stubbs, Weir, Dunc, Sheedy and more. There won't be many clubs like that.

I thought Duncan Ferguson as next Everton manager was the worst shout ive seen, not anymore, this one well and truly trumps it.
