Add in Hazard and Essien, **** me add Dzeko, Essien, Ronaldo and Hazard to this team and we'd walk the league.

Silkman is a bit of a fantasist. He has never been a representative of Ronaldo. Tony Henry (who now works for us) was working with his agent promoting him to English clubs. Google Cristiano Ronaldo and the Toulon tournament and you find a similar story for every club.

The reality is he signed that same summer for Manchester United for £12.6m which would have blown us out of the water. We spent a total of £2m on McFadden, Martyn and Kilbane that summer so the idea we missed out as we wanted him on trial is slightly far fetched!
 
when he was interviewed on tv he said it was the season/summer before the toulon tourny he was offered to everton

not that it matters now like :lol:
